How good is the new U2 single? Its like they put their last 10 albums into a computer and that song popped out which is actually what they probably did do!

I just heard it on the radio and after careful deliberation I have to say that it's sub-average.
But I've never been a huge fan of U2.

Vertigo is an imaginary place that Bono and Edge hang out in> occasionally....apparently. I don't think its sub-average. Also, a sub average U2 song (if there is one)would probably be better than a lot of groups entire work.
Name an Irish band that has had a better single this year.

It was inventive but now they are back to rock and back to Boy,War and October - I think they are making the best music of their careers. I cant see many other bands having the longevtivity of U2. Theres no one around today who will still be around in 25 years time and making relevant music. At least I cant think of anyone.

i thought whipping boy were deadly. they should'nt have brought out that Lynott poem though, ruined their international appeal.
