December 1st (Thurs.) The Half Moon Club, Cork. As special guests to The 4 Of Us. December 3rd (Sat.) Radio City (formerly The Isaac Butt), Store St, Dublin. December 22nd (Thurs.) Whelans, Wexford St, Dublin. Headlining a benefit Gig for The Dublin Simon Community. On Sept. 9th, The Guggenheim Grotto released their long awaited Debut Album '...Waltzing Alone'. Following a sell-out Album Launch Gig in Dublin's Whelans, the Album entered the Top 40 Album Chart within it's first week of release. A truly 'Independent' release, the Album was recorded, mixed, produced, designed and funded entirely by the band. With their first Radio Promo Single 'Told You So' being chosen as 'Song of the Week' on the Ian Dempsey Breakfast Show on Today FM, the Single climbed to number 12 on the Irish National Radio Airplay Chart.  '...Waltzing Alone' was chosen by Larry Gogan as his  'Album of the Week' on 2FM, and continues to be a firm favourite on his show. Having featured on Tom Dunne's 'Irish Music Hour' on Pet Sounds (every Tues. on Today FM), the band then went on to become Pet Sounds 'Rising Artist' of the week, rating a positive 98% in the Pet Sounds online listener's poll.  American Radio Stations, WXPN (Philadelphia) and KCRW (Los Angeles) have recently added songs from '...Waltzing Alone' to their daytime playlists. Following the American listener's positive reaction to '...Waltzing Alone', the band have been asked to record a session in BBC Studios, London next January, to be broadcast live on KCRW and syndicated all over the U.S. With the recording of exclusive live studio sessions for Dan Hegarty's show on 2FM, their New Single 'Wonderful Wizard' already receiving heavy rotation on our national airwaves, The Guggenheim Grotto are proving that their live performances are definitely not to be missed.
