Dublin - 30th MarchWhy? Fresh from their recent tour of the US the Redneck Manifesto play their biggest Irish headlining gig to date at Vicar Street which also marks the release of their new E.P. "Seven Stabs". One of the best bands this country has produced and one of the best live acts you'll see anywhere this is not a gig to miss. Unless you've got something better to do. But it had better be good.

Hinson has a voice that belies his tender years, but having to deal with bankruptcy, addiction and incarceration before the Memphis native was legally able to buy a drink in his adopted home of Abilene Texas was always going to take it's toll. From all that came Hinson's debut album 'Micah P. Hinson And The Gospel Of Progress' a touching collection of songs about love, loss and regret delivered with incredible pathos in a manner that would make Tom Waits go 'dude, get some honey in you'.
That's assuming Tom Waits uses the word 'dude'.
