Cluas Gigs of the Fortnight
The best gigs across Ireland during the period 27 February to 12 March
Gig of the fortnight is........ Neosupervital |
Where and When? Dungloe Bar, Derry - 4th March Why? At first glance one guy wearing Cylon shades with a drum machine and a synth guitar may not be that appealing but Neosupervital, better known as Bell X1 touring drummer Tim O'Donovan, is one of Ireland's best kept secrets and quite probably the most entertaining live act in the country.
Admittedly this is something of a sparse fortnight gig wise but this act getting the top spot here has been coming for a long time. If you live in or around Derry and like your synth pop don't miss this, if you don't like it then go anyway, you may just be converted.
