Formed
in the summer of 1999 by Lindfors and Murray, who had been playing together
throughout 1998. Peter Stuart was brought in on keyboards and over a few weeks,
and the originally folk-based sound of Lindfors' songs were lifted by a jazzier,
electric sound.
Bernard O'Neill and Dave Sedgwick were shortly added as a rhythm section and
this odd blend of musicians became Little Red. The group have been practicing
and developing their sound since they formed, and have created a sound described
as 'folk and jazz-tinged sixties rock'. The combination of melodic and loud,
surrounded by Hammond organ and wah-wah pedals is an unusual contrast to the
sensitive lyrics of both Stuart and Lindfors, but has made for listenable tunes
