Download their song 'Heal Feel'
Eva Dallas' are a tightly-knit group of rocking Dubliners who have been
impressing audiences with their original and focused musical pursuits. The
fruits of their imagination is a complicated and layered musical landscape,
compelling and utterly engaging. Winners of the Heineken Green Energy
Festival in May 1998, they have been making the right impact on more than
just their dedicated fanbase. Have a listen and make
you own mind up!
A band of outrageously good musical ability, Eva Dallas (Alan on bass, Liam on guitar Liam, Michael on keyboard, Joe on drums and Adam on vocals & guitar) are as close to virtuoso as you're likely to get. Together they take their influences (Spiritualized, Radiohead, Pet Sounds via My Bloody Valentine) and conjure up a new music that looks beyond the cacophony of the end of this decade, nay, century.
'Heal Feel' - taken from their debut album 'Surface to air' - is an untamed, windswept and emotional affair fuelled with blustering guitars and epic arrangements as the band exorcise their passion. The focus and conviction of Eva Dallas has won them many fans in Ireland and beyond, including Yo La Tengo & Mercury Rev, both of who asked Eva Dallas to support them at gigs of theirs in Dublin in 1999.
Eva Dallas are no longer playing having amicably split up in 2000. CLUAS continues nonetheless to keep their track available for download.
