Definitely Blue have been writing, recording and performing their own
material since the band began in 1996. A demo they recorded in late 1998
in Acme's studio's Tuam was selected by Hot Press as one of the 'Best
Demos of 1999'. DB went on to become first ever band from Mayo to record
a Fanning Session. They also in March played the regional final of the
2000 Bacardi / Hot Press unplugged band of the year competition in the
UCG College bar. The song featured here "Summer's Gone" has
also been selected in the Bacardi / Hot Press Song of the Year
