heading down for the saturday with a few heads and back that nite
i plan on seeing a couple of acts on every stage if i can manage it
will probably end up missing some bands i want to see as usual but ultimately so long as i get to see animal collective and manage to avoid bic runga, i'll be happy :)

Looking at the map of the site ... the New Band, the NME & Pet Sounds Stages are all located together.
The Green room is over the far side of the field, beyond the Main Stage so looks like you'll have to be on your toes to successfully avoid Ms Runga. You could accidently walk in ... Then the shutters come down ... & your trapped in your worst nightmare !!

After crying myself to sleep listening to bad Oasis covers last time, I've vowed never to camp again. On saying that, I am going, but just for the Saturday. To see whatever bands my girlfriend wants to see...
What's the deal with the NME tent? Couldn't an indigenous publication sponsor it instead?

Agreed, Security are too worried about drugs getting into the camp, that Acoustic Guitars slip through undetected ...

Yeah, Heading for early friday. Havent done the camping thing for about 3/4 years... still remember how wrecked I was at it the last time we did. But should be good fun. Is this the 6th or the 7th year of the whole Witnness/Oxegen thing. Been doing it since it started, but next year I reckon I might give it a miss and head for one of them there foreign festivals

yeah, what year is it? I missed the first one, but have been to every Witness / Oxegen since. Missed the first Electric Picnic too, obviously have not been on the ball. Sonar plus Lovebox will complete my quota of international festivals this year.

I've heading up to the gig on Friday and staying for the whole weekend. I still haven't organised transport yet though.
The first Oxegen/Witnness was in 2000. I've missed two of them so this will be my fifth.

lovely she might be but just cannot stomach her music at all
went to see tom baxter a coupla years back in the olympia and bic was the main act
maybe i'm missing something but i thought it was very inoffensive, very unexciting, very pipe and slippers music - not my thing at all
no offence bic fans
