The Band are my favourite Canadian band, (although Levon Helm was from the Southern States)
Then there's Neil Young, and Joni Mitchell though i'm not a huge fan of hers, blue is a great album though

god yeah, forgot about old leonard, only have two of his albums, (well 3 but one is pretty s**t), hes a good sort though
i lived there a few years ago and there was this real big band over there at the time, that i cant really remember now, our lady peace or summat? does anyone know them, wouldnt mind checking them out for a wee spot of nostalgia

What about The Dears, there from canada arent they? Great band, gig at whelans earlier this year was great, the lead singer sounds exactly like damon albarn, its quite scary actually!
