Headliners: Kings Of Leon and REM. Others confirmed include Ian Brown, Kaiser Chiefs & The Raconteurs. What do y'all think of this? Im probably gonna give this a miss. I would like to see REM and The Raconteurs though.

Rage would be full of 30-somethings, mostly married off & settled down, shouting to the chorus of "Fuck you I won't do what ya tell me" .... yeah, not till the next weekend anyway, when the missus makes them cut the grass out in the back garden & tells them to pick their underwear up off the bathroom floor & put it in the laundry basket where it belongs!!

EXCEPT aphex twin who (even after all my moaning about all festivals being the same) should really be at electric picnic.... and possibly hot chip should be there too as they provide some fun... something it's impossible to experience at oxegen...

Saw Rage last month in Auckland, and to be honest, was well disappointed. Awful sound, tempo to all the songs seemed really slow, and there really wasnt all that much rage involved. Expecting much better things from Pumpkins and QOTSA next month so fingers crossed. Broken Social scene tomorrow too. Cant wait!

I'd imagine the closest that most Rage Against the Machine fans get to raging against the machine these days is shouting at the photocopier when there's a paper jam!
